The TGR Haas F1 Team has officially unveiled its new 2026 challenger, the VF-26, bringing fresh momentum to the American squad as Formula 1 enters its new technical era. In a digital launch event shared across social media, Haas showcased the VF-26’s updated design and livery, highlighting an evolved visual identity and signaling the team’s ambitions for the upcoming season.
Under the regulations that take effect in 2026, F1 cars are set to be smaller and lighter, with revised aerodynamics and sustainable power unit components — and Haas’s VF-26 visually reflects those changes. The livery combines the team’s traditional white base with black and red accents, but with a stronger presence of Toyota Gazoo Racing branding following the expanded technical partnership and title sponsorship with the Japanese manufacturer.

Team Principal Ayao Komatsu expressed that revealing the car this early in the season is both exciting and a testament to the team’s hard work. He highlighted the intensive effort required to design and produce the VF-26 in the tight turnaround between the end of the 2025 campaign and this year’s winter schedule. The team will now focus on shaking down the car during the Barcelona preseason testing period from January 26–30, ahead of official test sessions in Bahrain.
Drivers Esteban Ocon and Oliver Bearman — retained from last season — will spearhead Haas’s bid to climb the midfield battle under the new rules. The VF-26’s early reveal allows both drivers and engineers more time to analyse aerodynamic behaviour and mechanical balance before the season opener in Australia on March 6 – 8.
Beyond the design, the partnership with Toyota marks a notable pivot in Haas’s journey. Toyota’s increased branding presence underlines its commitment to supporting the team not just commercially but also technologically, reinforcing a long-term strategy to compete more effectively.
