My interest in motorsport — particularly Formula One — began in the mid-1980s. From watching races to reading about drivers, circuits, and historic seasons, motorsport has always been something I followed with curiosity and attention to detail.

Over the years, that interest naturally extended beyond live racing. Books, archival footage, documentaries, and long-form historical accounts became just as important as the events themselves. What always stood out was how much depth and character existed in classic motorsport — often lost in quick summaries or modern retellings.

Racing & Beyond was created to focus on that side of the sport.

The site is dedicated primarily to classic motorsport, with an emphasis on Formula One history, legendary circuits, defining races, and the context surrounding them. The goal is not to simplify the past or force modern interpretations onto it, but to document it clearly, accurately, and with respect for the era in which it unfolded.

Content is published regularly, combining factual storytelling with careful editorial perspective, always grounded in what can be reliably observed and documented. Where appropriate, articles are connected to videos from the Racing & Beyond YouTube channel (@Racingandbeyond), allowing written and visual content to complement each other.
